Rataview Motel - Barrytown

Everything is great, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The property was beautifully maintained and lovely, featuring a private bathroom. It is situated in a remote area, conveniently located next to the West Coast and Lewis Pass, along with nearby stores, supermarkets, and cafes/restaurants.

Booked cottage, that was provided with good view. The staff were very amiable and responsive during our whole stay. The venue's position was remote.

I had a relaxing experience here, everything was perfectly fine, the location was stunning next to closest cafes/restaurants. Beautifully maintained units with good view, and the staff were affable. I thoroughly enjoyed a beautiful style...

The rooms here are well-kept and come with tea and coffee-making facilities, a multi-channel TV, and a cozy dining area. Plus, it's only a 15-minute walk from the bus station, which is pretty convenient! ☕.

Nestled in breathtaking natural surroundings, this lodge provides awe-inspiring panoramic views of the coast. the facilities are well-equipped and great for groups. Visitors can enjoy a gas fireplace, huge bathroom, clean linens, and kitchen amenities.

Pesky pests like spiders and sandflies can take away from the experience.

I loved the spaciousness of the accommodation with plenty of comfortable chairs for all of us. The view from the side window was fine, and we were provided with all the necessary entry codes and contact numbers. The beds were so comfortable, and we even had access to a table tennis table.

The views were stunning and the location was perfect for a relaxing city break. the accommodation was spacious and well-equipped, with plenty of games and activities available for entertainment. We especially loved the outdoor deck which was perfect for stargazing at night.

The property needs some maintenance and attention to detail. We noticed cobwebs and black mould in the basins and the gardens were overgrown.

What a fantastic spot to stay with stunning panoramic views that were absolutely amazing! The spacious living area was just perfect for my group's needs and we found everything to be clean and tidy. The outdoor furniture was well-maintained and comfortable to use. Additionally, we appreciated the well-stocked provisions that were available to us.

The awkward setup of the main bedroom, which offered little privacy and required others to walk by in order to use the restroom. Also, some of the lighting controls were difficult to operate. Despite these minor concerns, overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again in the future!

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, fine views, well-equipped kitchen, ample seating, great location.
